Just heard the news today, oh boy. . .

Sad. Stunned. Surprised. Not surprised. Swirling thoughts and emotions. Hard to believe. His sites are down. No connectivity. I'll have to write more later.

Larry worked in the Department’s OASIS section from 1997 to 2004. He left us to pursue his passion for what he fondly named “DataSculpting.” Those of us who knew Larry will remember him jaunting around, he did not walk he jaunted, the shock of golden hair bouncing on his tall and handsome frame, passionately advocating the merits of Windows SharePoint and its application to the world of planners. Today, those of us who did not know Larry are also enjoying the fruits of the technical advances we have made based on Larry’s passion for Windows and helping people in general.

Larry is survived by his Mom Sharon Collins and Younger Sister Linda Batista.

We know that Larry’s ashes will be scattered on August 11 at Half Moon Bay. We do not know the time and place yet, and will announce it when we find out more.
